Backyard Missions?
I'm in the process of praying through some ideas for FOkids to serve our community this fall in a BIG way. I'm looking to set up opportunities for our kids and families to simply love and serve our community. I'd love to hear some of your ideas. Either ideas you've done, heard of, or ideas you thought would be cool to try. Obviously different communities have different needs but I'd still like to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Last Sat. nite, I explained the five colors of the beads in my hair and how they are used to teach people about Jesus. Maybe we can have an activity where the kids make their own bracelets and/or put beads in their hair as a back to school project to show and teach their friends.
We do a thing at our church called "Second Saturday." We often times go down to a low income neighborhood and pull weeds, paint houses, mow lawns etc. We also go down to our community center and offer classes to teenage moms, run a small carnival etc.
