Chaos Alert!

I've been M.I.A. due to life overload. Here's a glimpse:

  • We are moving into a "fixer upper" so every night for the past 3 weeks I've been at the house straight from work working on it to get it all done in time before we have our baby.

  • Last week I spent 4 days in Dallas at C3 conference, awesome but away.

  • Last week Riley got his first stitches (see pic). He got a total of 5. I missed his first stitches. It's a miracle that boy hadn't got any the first 5 years.
  • This past weekend Callie Joy got sick. So TJ took her to the clinic yesterday and due to some of the symptoms they sent us to the Children's Hospital for a 3 hour tour. All is well it was just precaution.
  • During the same time we were at the hospital TJ had an appointment for the pregnancy. There she found out we will have a baby on...March 17th. St. Patricks Day. So were stoked and even more need to get our house into gear.
  • Our move in date is this Friday if all goes well.
  • Minstry is happening and awesome (will blog on more later).
  • All is well just the busiest I've been in a long time thus very few blog post.

Keep on livin for Jesus. Rock on! Dustin

Pastors Conference with our team

Today I flew into Dallas Texas with our lead pastor Rodney Gage and our Student Pastor Chad Harper to attend the C3 Conference. I look forward to hanging out with them and learning from other pastors from around the country. I'll post various thoughts after each session.

Grampa Aagaard

The reason I haven't posted anything is becuase I have been so busy with lots of stuff going on in my life. One of the biggest things was the passing of my grandfather. Here is the obituary: Robert Dean "Bob" Aagaard
AAGAARD, ROBERT "BOB" DEAN, 80, of Tavares, FL passed away on February 9, 2009. He died in his home with his family at his side. Bob was born October 19, 1928 in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Hans and Inger Aagaard. Bob spent his childhood on a farm. He later served in the United States Army. After returning from the Korean War he married Ardyce June Petersen on June 5, 1949, residing in Iowa where Bob learned the construction business from his father. Bob and Ardyce moved to Florida in 1957 where they built homes and Bob later co-founded Aagaard-Juergensen General Contractors in 1970, retiring from the firm in 1985 and moved to Lake County. Bob and Ardyce spent many years traveling the United States and abroad. They made many memorable trips in their motor home meeting up with friends and family along the way. Bob enjoyed their annual fishing trips to Canada. Bob especially enjoyed visiting his homeland Denmark along with his wife and all of their children. Nothing made Bob happier than spending time with his family and friends. He loved to laugh, joke, and make everyone happy. A very special man to all who knew him. Watching the sunset from his easy chair at his lakefront home became one of his greatest pleasures. Bob was a past member of the Moose Lodge, SPEBSQSA, and supporter of Sweet Adelines Sound of Sunshine Chorus and Quartets. Every performance was "the best he ever heard"! He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Ardyce; sons Dennis (Kris) of Sanford; Douglas (Terry) of Eustis; David (Cindy) of Tavares; a daughter Deanna Simpson of Tavares; sister Maxine Nelson of Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his many friends he considered family. Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, on Friday, February 13th, 6:30PM-8:30PM. Graveside services will be held at Tavares Cemetery, Saturday, February 14th, 10AM, Pastor Dustin Aagaard officiating. Pallbearers are grandsons. Friends and family are invited to attend a Lakeside Celebration of Bob's life immediately following graveside services at Bob and Ardyce's home. The family would like to thank the staff at Cornerstone Hospice for their care, support, and kindness during this special time. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 or your favorite charity.
